Welcome

I spend hours (too many) reading the blogs of people who enjoy the same things I do. Thought I might join in, particularly because of the fabulous giveaways they offer. Shamefully greedy I know. I enjoy cooking, cookbooks, British novels (hello Persephone Books), china, embroidery, knitting and many other random things. I am shameful in that I am great at starting projects; not so great at finishing. My greatest unfinished projects? My children (ahem, they are 21 and 23 currently)! My goals for this blog are to catalog the things I cook, the things I make, the thoughts I have and the ideas that keep me forever hungry, literally and figuratively. Note: I am not a photographer. There may never be a photo on this blog; if there is please know that I didn't take it!
